Opening an account

Once you've opened an account you will be given an option either to auto pick your 10 free cards or to choose them yourself. I would highly recommend that you pick them yourself as it will give you a better chance of winning rewards in the rookie league. Your 10 free cards that you pick must contain as follows: 2 goalkeepers, 2 defenders. 2 midfielders and 2 strikers. The other 2 cards can be from any positions you choose. You will be given a 400 million budget to pick these 10 cards. However if you sign up via my link below you'll be given an extra 100 million. This extra 100 million will you give you a massive advantage when competing in the rookie league.

Rookie league tournament

Now you have your free 10 common cards you're now ready to enter your first tournament. As a new member you will be be eligible to enter the rookie league for the first 8 game weeks. If you're lucky enough to finish in the top 3, which you're more likely to do as you have the extra 100 million from signing up via my link, you'll win a rare card! Competing in the rookie league and winning cards early will get you off to to a flyer.

Other league tournaments

When all leagues are playing, there will be 6 leagues tournaments available to enter. Global, under 23's, America, Asia & 2 European, Champion & Challenger. Champion is the 5 top leagues in Europe. England, France, Italy, Spain & Germany. I would recommend you bear this in mind when purchasing players. You need to decide if you want to go strong in all leagues from the start or just some. If just some, then concentrate on buying players from the leagues you are targeting.

All tournaments are free to enter.

What players should I buy?

Many factors will come into consideration such as budget and how you want top play the game. There is no right or wrong way and all types of budgets can compete. Tournament rewards and capital appreciation are the most obvious ways where you can profit. If you decide on the capital appreciation route then I would advise you to look for young players with potential or players who are out injured who are good consistent scores on the scoring matrix. If you want to win tournaments on a consistent basis then look at players who score consistently well on the scoring matrix. The latter being the most expensive route, however winning rewards on a weekly basis will soon recoup some of your spend.

How do I buy players?

There are 3 ways to buy players, Auction, off the market and direct offers. Auctions run 24/7 365 days a year. On auctions you buy the card directly off Sorare and compete against other users in an Ebay style auction. Buying off the market is where you buy direct form another user who has listed a player for sale. Direct offers can be made to any user on a player you would like to buy. Auctions are generally where you get the best deal however good deals can arise via the other methods.

Join via my link to gain an instant advantage by having 100 million more to select your free 10 cards. Select your free cards carefully, spend some time researching them. Look at upcoming fixtures etc to try and gain an edge over the competition so you have a good change of winning a reward in the rookie league.

Don't just buy for the sake of it. Plan before you buy. Decide what leagues you are targeting and buy players from the relevant leagues. Research as much as you can using tools like Soraredata (check the soraredata tab to check out some useful tools that are available). You want to ensure you're buying proven consistent good scorers on the scoring matrix or players who have shown glimpses of scoring well.

Draw up a list of players who'd you'd like to acquire and look out for them on auction or buy straight from the market if the deal is right for you. You enter 5 players into a tournament, A goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker and another outfield position of your choice . I would recommend you buy a player from each position first and foremost to enable you to enter a tournament.
